No really having a great day , It's been a while since I last posted , I am feeling fantastic and doing really well. My health has improved so much and have made an almost complete recovery.

I'm faced with check-ups and scans for a long part of my life. In reality it's better to have your eye on the situation.

Work is great!! Makin deals!! and eating dinners paid by the company.

Going out , laughing, watching more tv, also go to the gym ONCE per week at least , I call it Novelty Night!!

It's been about 9 days since the surgery to remove my Parotid Gland Tumor.

All I can say that it all went well , no nerve damage and I have recovered really quick, in fact I was thinking that it would take longer as it wa a delicate area to have an operation. Well I have some minor pain. I went through the normal feeling of not being able to open my mouth to a great extent and chew from the sheer pain in my jaw.

I was scared the day of the operation, laying in that operating room was the shock; I almost called it off and then I looked at the anesthetist and said "do it". My last words were GOD HELP ME. I woke up in ICU and the first memory was my hands touching my face and then where the tumor was removed , i called out in pain as it was something I have never felt before. They basically pumped me full of morphine, Pethidine over a two day period.

I then took it easy, i had plenty of visits from Family, Friends and even an EX LOVER.

I left on Friday two days after the op. I was so happy.

NOW HERE IS THE FUN PART.

Before the Surgery I had an FNA ( Fine Needle Aspiration ) of the tumor. The path results were BENIGN.

I went to my Doctor the ENT surgeon ( Ear ,Nose , Throat) and he sat me down and we laughed a little how good the scar looked and how it will fade away over time. The doctor then went quiet.

He said "Nick the pathology results weren't that good" I went so cold. The doctor said nick the tumor was Malignant. He said he cut the cancer out and took healthy cells out as well. He said the Margin was close.

The Doctor advised that he booked me into the cancer treatment center for next tuesday to do tests, work out what treatment is needed e.g radiation to kill off the cancer left.

The Doctor said , that I was lucky that it was removed when it was as it would of spread more e.g into the body , brain.

The Pathology report suggested it has not spead to my Vascular or perineural systems. So the doctor suggested that it is in early stages.

I am not jumping to too many conclusions as i will wait for tuesday and what treatment is required.

The tumor/cancer is Very RARE overall and the tumor "section" has been sent to a Doctor in Hong Kong as he has seen this before. The exact name of the cancer/ tumor is

Papillary Cystadenocarcinoma.

I am a fighter , I always have been. I will remain positive.

Hello All!

In three hours I will be in hospital to remove my Tumor. I am scared, worried and also looking forward to this.

On some good news My sister has given Birth to her new Daughter ! at 4.05am 03/05/06 at 51 cm's and 2.8 kgs! Her name is Leana ( le-ana ) .

I am so happy , this is a very important day! I am uncle for the second time

It all started with one day when I felt like a train has run over me , I came home very tired and life felt like it was stretching into a period of complete fatigue.

I felt a small lump in my neck under my right ear lobe, nothing major, it felt like when you have cold and your nodes swell up a bit? Well I've had a cold and sinus problems for a while and it seemed to "fit" according to a few doctors and what i also thought.

So fast forward 3-6 months , still feeling bad and getting even worse. I've had to cancel family events, seeing friends etc. I decided to see another GP. He felt the lump and said it was my Lymph node "blocked" from some sort of infection, i thought "oh okay , that's treatable"

The Doctor suggested strong anti-biotic about 4 weeks worth. He suggested that this should do the trick. The Quick 4 weeks passed and nothing had changed.
The Doctor suggested even stronger drugs and a scan of my teeth as there could be a wisdom tooth causing an infection and a ct scan. The scan displayed the lump an it's size of 1cm and a smaller one close by as well.

The doctor referred me to an ENT and said it was out if his hands. The doctor still thought it was a Lymph node blockage????

Some time had passed and more pain occurred and the lump grew.

I visited the ENT ( Ear , Nose and Throat specialist ). The doctor examined the area and advised that i need to have a FNA. This procedure is a Fine Needle Aspiration of the lump. I had this done which was very painful. I am a strong guy to pain "so i thought" the needle was "pushed" into my lump under ultrasound and they "jiggled" it around. The nice doctor referred to it like that. I think i said something like "don't jiggle to much".

Now I won't lie and say i was so nervous to the outcome. I waited for around 2 days calling up the doctor and then they hit me with the news:

Nick you have a Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Parotid gland. I said what is that??? and then

Nick you have a Tumor a Mixed tumor , benign tumor. I was in shock , my body froze. i was in shock for 4 days.

Yes I told myself thank god it's not cancer , I’m so lucky etc.

Then i started to find out what it was the size which is now 2cms, and is growing in such a terrible place in my Saliva gland under my ear. It's benign however it can turn nasty as I’ve read and been told, and i was advised i need to have surgery as soon as possible, as it's a tumor growing in an area that has no room and in a gland that is vital part of our daily life.

The surgery is also or can be very risky. The surgeon needs to cut from the top of my ear down under my neck , pull my face back and then peel the tumor off my nerves. that's right off my face nerve . if the doctor cuts the nerve i will lose the movement in my mouth. Apparently my surgeon advised that he never damaged anyone only bruised his patients. He advised that I will most likely lose my feeling in my right ear which is known as a "wooden" ear and smaller nerves near my ear. I will stay in hospital for up too 3 days and off work for one-two weeks.

Now let's jump to Sydney.... My Uncle who I hardly speak with his wife is my dad's sister. Called me late one afternoon and advised he would like to pay for this operation and all other unforseen costs. As i might have to have some chemo. Yes it's benign but it's mixed and by that , this tumor has cells and neo-plasims that can rupture , turn malignant , spread. I hope i don't have to have any more treatment. I will find out after the surgery if it's malignant.

I was over the moon with relief as I wont have to pay for the surgery and i don't have to wait in an over stretched public system. I spoke with a public doctor as well who advised that people with full blown cancer have to wait up too 4 weeks. This doctor was from the RBH Royal Brisbane Hospital. I can't verify this , this is what he told me and mum.

I will be going to hospital on the 3rd of May. In about 10 days. I will have the surgery and get on with life. I am scared on many levels, however when i had an attack of pain in my jaw and neck I wish i was in the op room.

I wanted to advise if you feel unwell or pain anywhere have a check up and even a CT scan. It could be the difference between death and living.

I am looking forward to recovery and a new start. It makes me see how I can change the way i do things and possibly changing my habits.

I will also post before and after pics and will advise eveyone of the pathology results of the tumor and i pray it's not cancer.!

The death of former Yugoslav and Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic saw pack journalism at its worst. "Butcher of Belgrade" was the favorite accusation. Few were interested in the background, which begins with the fact that during the wartime German occupation of the former Yugoslavia, up to one million resisting Serbs were butchered by the Nazis and their fascist Muslim and Croatian allies -- the Ustashi -- whose brutalities were said to have shocked even the Nazis.

The post-1945 communist regime did all it could to dampen the resulting ethnic hatreds. Even so, sporadic attacks on Serbs by Ustashi fanatics continued. Then came the premature recognition by the West of Croatia and Bosnia as independent states in 1991/92. This meant the large Serbian minorities in both regions would have to accept the rule of their former oppressors. Bitter hostilities were inevitable, with the Serbian so-called "ethnic cleansing" in many cases being part of an effort to recover the towns and villages from which they were so cruelly expelled before 1945.

True, there were also atrocities by not only the Serbs. One of the worst was the brutal expulsion of some 500,000 Serbs from the Krajina region of Croatia -- an act of genuine ethnic cleansing that attracts little attention from anti-Serb critics, as does the fact that prior to the much-mentioned expulsion of 7,000 Bosnian Muslims from the former Serbian town of Sebrenicia, with some massacred, there had been systematic massacres of Serbs in the surrounding villages.

The true "butchers" in Yugoslavia were the U.S., British and German planners who orchestrated the break-up of this once ethnically stable nation. Their aim: to weaken Serbia, seen as pro-Moscow, and to extend Western influence into a formerly neutral area of Eastern Europe. The planners must have known how past ethnic hatreds would surface. For as we see in Iraq and Dafur today, when deep-seated ethnic or religious differences within a nation are triggered, atrocities and even mass exterminations are inevitable.

Every civilian, on the other side, has to be seen as a real or potential enemy. Atrocities can only be ended by forceful separation of the rival groups. But in Bosnia, the U.S. opposed separation through till 1995, claiming remarkably that it might create a precedent for ethnic division in the U.S. The U.S., incidentally, was the first to practice Dafur-style scorched-earth policies with its free-fire-zone policies during the Vietnam conflict.

The attempts to blame Milosevic for the Kosovo conflict were even more biased. We now know that as early as the 1980s, the U.S. and Britain were encouraging and training ethnic Albanian extremists of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) to undertake guerrilla war against the Serbian presence. Somehow the legitimate Serbian military resistance to these attacks was supposed to be yet another form of "ethnic cleansing." We were supposed to believe that the Serbian 10 percent minority was determined to cleanse Kosovo of its 90 percent ethnic Albanian majority.

Ironically "ethnic cleansing" was a term originally invented by the KLA to describe its goal of driving all Serbs out of Kosovo -- a goal it has now largely achieved with the help of the West. The trigger for much of the anti-Serbian demonization was a speech Milosevic made in Kosovo in 1989. It is described repeatedly as a racist manifesto calling for a Greater Serbia state. No one seems to have bothered to read the speech. If they did they would see that in fact Milosevic was calling for racial tolerance to cope with the tense situation created originally by deep-rooted and long-standing ethnic Albanian hostility to the Serbian presence in Kosovo -- a presence that had once been strong in this former Serbian homeland but had been greatly reduced by pro-Nazi Albanian wartime rampages against Serbian villages.

Worse was to follow. Forced to move out of Kosovo or have his country bombed, Milosevic agreed to move provided the respected ethnic Albanian moderate Ibrahim Rugova was put in charge. But the U.S., in the shape of feisty Secretary of State Madeline Albright, insisted on the young, vigorous KLA leader Hashim Thaci. When Milosevic objected to what in effect would be a death or expulsion sentence for any Serbs remaining in Kosovo, NATO launched its vandalistic bombing attacks on Serbia to force compliance. The KLA under Thaci then went on expel more Serbs, Jews and other minorities from Kosovo and to launch attacks into southern Serbia and Macedonia as part of its campaign to create a Greater Albania.

Today Thaci rejects even the role of the United Nations in Kosovo. Meanwhile Serbia, which has seen much of its economy destroyed and has had to absorb close to one million refugees from Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo, still suffers demonization. Pack journalism is a powerful weapon.

How to Survive 600 Years of Terrorism and 60 Years of Communism

This story has been borrowed from Mary Mostert Journalist in America.

For the past 10 years I have been writing, off and on, about the disintegration of Yugoslavia and that has led to me having a large and growing number of Serb readers. I got interested in the Serb part of the story because I noticed, during the Bosnian war, that CNN never, NOT ONCE, ever had a Serb spokesman on any news program.
That struck me as rather odd, since it was the Serbs who were our ONLY allies in the Balkans during World War 1, when approximately half the Serbian male population was killed, and World War II, when, according to the Holocaust Museum, over a million Serbs, Jews and Roma (gypsies) were slaughtered in Croatian concentration camps, such as Jasenovac.

The cruelty of the Ustashe guards horrified even the Germans, who used the more humane killing method of poison gas than was used on the Serbs. After the war German domination was merely traded for Soviet domination. This happened largely because a British double agent fed lies about who was REALLY on the Allied side to Winston Churchill. At Yalta Churchill insisted on the Allies supporting Josip Broz Tito, a communist, in spite of eye-witness accounts by hundreds of American Air Force pilots and crewmen who knew which group was really supporting the Americans and British. When shot down over Yugoslavia during WWII, over 500 American pilots were saved by the Serbs under General Mihailovich.

Muslims ruled the area for more than 600 years under the Ottoman Turkish Empire, while often trying to force the Serbian Orthodox population to convert to Islam. The rulers of the Austrian Empire often tried to force the Serbs to recognize the Pope. Yet, most of the Serbs maintained their loyalty to the Serbian Orthodox Church throughout hundreds of years of persecution, without trying to force others into their religion when they came to power.

In 1996, the latest chapter in the misinformation about Serbs was being written when President Bill Clinton, OK'ed Terrorist Financed Weapons to Bosnia Muslims. Our media was bombarding us with stories about how the Serbs were killing Albanians – but never told the Americans that the Kosovo Liberation Army, (KLA) until 1998 when Clinton took it off, was on the U.S. State Department list of the major terrorist organizations in the world.

By 1999, the KLA, which was trained and armed by Iran and Osama bin Laden was the source of the stories that Milosevic, and the Serbs, were committing genocide. Also the Albanian lobby in Washington, which appears to have been financed largely by the drug trade in Kosovo and some wealthy Albanian-Americans, was circulating false stories to the media about the “Serbs killing 100,000” Albanians in Kosovo. Based on those reports, American airplanes bombed Belgrade and Kosovo for 78 days.

After the bombing, scores of forensic experts were sent to Kosovo to unearth mass graves containing the bodies of those 100,000 to 200,000 Albanians were buried in. No mass graves were found. The leader of the Spanish forensic team reported after a thorough investigation: "I calculate that the final figure of dead in Kosovo will be 2,500 at the most, including lots of strange deaths that can't be blamed on anyone."

Yet, with the death of Slobodan Milosevic we still are getting cartoons and stories about the “200,000 people” that Milosevic supposedly killed. Only - no one could find the bodies. On the other hand, in Iraq, where the media never even TALKED about genocide, so far 300,000 bodies HAVE been found in mass graves. Meanwhile the media tells us Saddam Hussein wasn't all that bad because he didn’t have “weapons of mass destruction” and the Democrats want to impeach President Bush because there was no reason to invade Iraq. It was a good thing that we bombed Belgrade for 78 days over 2500 deaths but 300,000 bodies in mass graves in Iraq is no big deal?

In ten years of communicating with Serbs from all over the world, I have often tried to get them to give me more background to try to figure out how they have managed to hold fast to their faith during 600 years of Muslim persecution, the Holocaust and 60 years of Communism. Most of them seem puzzled by my questions. But, from their answers it appears that their faith in both their God and their nation has been nurtured and has survived within their strong family units, in SPITE of what was happening in their country. Except for a brief period of time between the fall of Turkish domination and the rise of communism, they have never lived in a nation that had freedom of religion. Yet, their churches and their faith have survived.

Finally, this week, following the death of their last communist president, Slobodan Milosevic, one of my readers, Alex, who lives in Belgrade, wrote a succinct history of Serb experience in living with terrorism for hundreds of years. In this time of rising worldwide terrorism, this is a story the American people need to hear. Neither Alex or any of the other Serbs I've communicated with in the past 10 years EVER seemed to cast themselves in the role of "victim" which has become so common among minorities and special interest groups in the USA and among Bosnian Muslims and Albanians who have e-mailed me. Yet, no group of Americans or the Albanians and Bosnian Muslims who claim to be "victims" of persecution EVER had to face the kind of persecution the Serbs have experienced, from both radical Muslims and radical Christians, and even from America when we destroyed most of the infrastructure of their country based on misinformation and outright lies. Would we be so calm about it if we lost OUR freedom of religion? Alex wrote:

“Serbs have had plenty of experience in dealing with radical Islam, what Americans now call Islamic Terror. Americans tragically lost some 3,000 lives and several buildings on Sept. 11, and promptly wanted to turn the world upside down and intervene in other countries, in pursuit of justice.

“Yet, the Serbs - who have suffered a million times more, for centuries, have not been allowed to fight the same type of terror in their own country.

“For almost 500 years the Turks had beheaded our best men, raped our prettiest women, taken our male babies and young boys and raised them as Turks - these were the yanissaries, they were even more brutal than the ordinary Turks; taken our girls to the sultan's harem, taken our lands, our harvest, our livestock, our food, burned our churches and turned them into mosques or horse stables, placed our men on sticks so that they die a suffering death...

“To give you an idea of how horrific the Turks were, here is a photo of the Cele-kula located in the southern Serbian city of Nis - Serbia's second biggest city after Belgrade. The Turks had beheaded (decapitated) our men after a battle in 1809, and had made a tower out of 952 of their skulls, as a warning to the Serbs to end their rebellion. Some of the skulls had fallen out over time, but some still remain, to date. This is now a historic, cultural and sacred monument protected by the state, but also a brutal reminder of what Serbia had gone through.

“And, instead of America understanding us and supporting us, what does it do? It punishes us in every way possible and then rewards our enemies - Muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo, who have ties with the very Al Qaeda the Americans are fighting. Isn't that a bit strange? Yes, very.

”Unfortunately, our Catholic and other Christian neighbors did things just as bad as the Islamists. The Croats had performed genocide of Serbs during WW 1, WW 2 (especially WW 2, for example, the death camp at Jasenovac) and again in the 1990s (for example: Operation Storm). Hitler had no better ally, than the Croatian Ustashi. The Hungarians killed us, tortured us, hanged us and mutilated us (in Macva) and placed our people under a freezing river (in the city of Novi Sad, 1942). The Germans had put us in forced labor camps, prisons, death camps, and in front of firing squads (one example: in the city of Kragujevac as many as 7,000 residents were shot in a single day).

“We also suffered greatly under the atheists - communists. It's no secret that Soviet troops had raped many women when they and Tito's partisans liberated Serbia in 1945, only to introduce us to communist terror in which the highest price was paid by Serbs.

“Serbia has had the misfortune to be placed right at the place where Europe meets the Middle East, where two Christian religions clash (Roman Catholic and Orthodox) and where Christianity in general and Islam clash. And we have survived it all, including the betrayal and attacks by what were supposed to be our historical allies.”

Distribute this among your friends and neighbors and especially to your members of Congress. It is time that we begin to learn some of the history of past terrorism experienced by other people and other places. The Serbs have survived – but their numbers have been cut dramatically by hundreds of years of terrorism. When you read media stories about Kosovo being given to the Albanians who lied to America about a "genocide" - think about what that would really mean. Do we really want to strip Kosovo, the Serb Jerusalem, from the Serbs and give it to a group of people who have poured into Kosovo, from across the border, and used terrorism to kill or drive out its Serb population over the past 60 years? That seems to be about where the Kosovo talks are headed.

I had a dream that I was some shopping center and there was this hot blonde girl and she was showing me her bag she bought. We then started to Passionately kiss, The kissing lasted for a while....

The the most strangest thing happened while we were KISSING , her kiss started to turn to ICE and she was freezing my lips!

I'm home sick today from a freak fever that struck me down from yesterday.

This is the story so far....

I am laying in bed and I hear this awful music playing as loud as the radio can go.
I "force" myself out of bed and see an australia post van parked outside my house and there is a very old woman sitting inside , playing "FOREVER YOUNG" on the radio , by the annoying boy group that stole a good song..anyway

she "jumps" out of the van and proceeds to deliver a package next door. she knocks on the door and no one answer's so she "opens" the gate of my neighbour and places the package 10 meters inside. she leaves the gate "OPEN". The delivery woman starts to do some JIG-thing to the shitty song and proceeds doing the jig towards the van. She SLIPPS and gets up rather quickly for a old person.

Know my sinister mind allowed me to laugh at her... However I wonder what as going through her mind ....

" I guess I'm not that young as the song stipulates"

" Serves me right for playing a SHITTY song "

She looks around quickly making sure no one saw her FALL. she hops in the van and drives away. I thought oh well the fun is over.. but NO! my elderly neighbour opens his door and says

"HELLO" who is there?

He then comes outside and looks around and sees nothing , he then LOOKS AGAIN and this time he moves his head more to the right and see's his gate open. He walks around and is baffled as to why his gate is open. He then realises there is a package and walks toward his door.

I just felt like sharing my moments when I am unwell.

I'm not too sure what to think.

I think this just proves what an extreme religion Islam can be and it underlines how serious Muslim's can take themselves and their religion, if they can't see some humour and occasionally laugh at themselves. The other scary part of this ridiculous over reaction is how quickly violent protest broke out around world.

Hello everyones! I was out clubbing last night and thought what a waste of time money!! Oh well in 2 weeks after my Nephew's birthday and my best friends Bryn's Birthday, I will be clubbing on the gold coast!

I find it the best way the last few weeks to drown out reality~!!

AT WORK!! I received an email from a man from Romania asking me to find him a job. he said he will go to the australian consulate and get a visa, he said he was very poor and only has money for 3 days of bread for his family and lives on 200 EUROS per month. It threw me off for a bit and I felt quite sad.

It made me remember i still have a heart, I thought i told myself not to get sad with the terrible state of this world. e.g poverty

No Just an Ethnic Cleansing opeation by the Croatian State in the War of The Former Yugoslavia.

Please Read on you might actually understand the complex problems that plagued Western Europe.

10th anniversary of ‘Operation Storm’ is no exception. Far from being an occasion for shame, at least in Croatia, the single biggest act of ethnic cleansing in Europe since World War II, in which 200,000 Krajina Serbs were driven from their homes and another 2,500 killed, is set to receive official praise.

THAT'S 200,000 People Ethnically Clensed from their land of birth.

While this party must be sending chills down some EU diplomats’ spines, it’s doubtful that anyone from the “international community” will condemn this and risk future property acquisitions in this vacation paradise on the Adriatic.

In the days that followed Operation Storm, property was destroyed and atrocities committed against those Serbs who remained.

'I was alone'

The photographs the women hold are of the head of the family, Branko, and his son Mirko.

Branko's wife, Sava, recounts what happened to them.

"I was on a truck full of people when we heard a warplane fly over head, and then open fire.

"People started panicking and running away. I was one of the last to leave the truck, and, when I was alone, I turned around and saw my son's headless body, with my husband behind him, also dead.''

Mirko's wife, Vedrana, survived the journey to Serbia, but died days later during childbirth.

Like most of the Serb refugees from Croatia, the Stijelja family have never felt able or willing to return.

They survive on a small Serbian pension, and had to build the home they live in themselves.

Sava wants Croatia to apologise for killing her husband and son, and to arrest the Croat General accused of war crimes during Operation Storm - Ante Gotovina.

Refugee return

On Thursday, the Stijelja family joined several hundred people in a ceremony at a Belgrade church to remember those who died in the Krajina exodus.

Relatives of the dead and missing also staged a silent protest outside the Croatian embassy.

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica described Operation Storm as the biggest example of ethnic cleansing since World War II.

But Croatia says Serbia is making too much of it - that there is no comparison with the genocide of 8,000 Muslims by Serbs at Srebrenica in the same year.

Croatia will mark the anniversary with celebrations on Friday. Operation Storm - along with another offensive in eastern Croatia - was extremely effective.

Within a matter of days they had restored the territorial integrity of Croatia and purged it of most of its Serb population.

Since then the Croatian government has been criticized by the United Nations and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) for failing to do enough to facilitate the return of those refugees who want to go back to Croatia.

Local courts have also made it difficult for Serbs to reclaim their property.

Many refugees have simply sold their homes and taken citizenship in Serbia and Montenegro instead.

What Enrages me is that the "Serbian" People have been demonised as the worst offenders in all the cases of crimes in the FY. In reality there were crimes committed on all sides.

Croatian people and Government are DANCING AND LAUGING AND "HAVING A GREAT TIME" at this celebration that they committed ethnic clensing. THEY ARE CELEBRATING THIS. HAVING BBQS AND BEING HAPPY.

What is clear is that (perhaps because of this very interest from Del Ponte and Co.) the Croatian leadership is making a point on this jolly anniversary of reminding us that they had the full support of the Americans when they carried it out. And so the government is going out of its way to glorify Operation Storm, just as it continues to ignore similar things they should take pride in, such as Jasenovac and the Ustasha movement in general.
